News: QUADs Summer Nights Film Festival returns to National Trust venues in August 2013

Summer Nights Film Festival 2013 will tour a selection of classic and contemporary films and to National Trust locations throughout Derbyshire in August and September.

Presented on a giant screen by QUAD, Derby's centre for art and film,Summer Nights offers the chance to enjoy the great outdoors for a unique cinematic experience.

Four National Trust venues in Derbyshire plus Wollaton Hall in Nottinghamshire have been announced, the  and screeningshave now been confirmed as:

Psycho (15) at Calke Abbey on Friday 9th August

Les Misérables (12A) at Calke Abbey on Saturday 10th August

Mamma Mia (PG) at Kedleston Hall on Friday 16th August

Quartet (12A) at Kedleston Hall on Saturday 17th August

Les Misérables (12A) at Sudbury Hall on Saturday 24th August

Life of Pi (PG) at Sudbury Hall on August

Skyfall (12A) at Hardwick Hall on Friday 30th August

Grease (PG) at Hardwick Hall on Saturday 31st August

Les Misérables (12A) at Wollaton Hall, Notttinghamshire, on Friday 6th September

Batman: The Dark Knight Rises at Wollaton Hall, Notttinghamshire on Saturday 7th September.

Film titles have been picked from some of the Oscar successes of 2012 and 2013, and tickets for the screenings are now available to book in advance at a discounted ‘early bird’ rate of £10.50.

The films screened at our places last year were really well received and everyone had great fun. Watching a film against the backdrop that our places can offer is a brilliant experience, especially if it features in the film!”
