LUX'13 presents the work of Commercial Photography students graduating from the University of Derby this summer.
Their work covers a broad spectrum, including 3D imaging, motor sport and celebrity photography. Among the celebrated young artists, two of their number have been shortlisted for Student Photographer of the Year for their respective fashion and still life photography.
Derby recently hosted the Format Photography Festival, within which the students have taken active roles, from assisting festival Patron Brian Griffin, to hosting live photography projects for participants from around the world.
Their supporters include drinks manufacturers Belvoir Fruit Farms, and microbrewers Derventio Brewery, who worked with them to create the exclusive LUX’13 Pale Ale, available to sample at the private view in London.
LUX'13 Commercial Photographers will be exhibiting at the degree show in Derby at Markeaton Street Campus from 31st May to 11th June 2013, and the renowned Menier 'Chocolate Factory' Gallery in London from 25th-29th June. Come along and meet the next generation in Commercial Photography.
