'Neon Nature' is the title of Leanne Millward's final collection, she spoke to Hatch'd about her inspiration and what she plans to do next.
HM: What inspired your collection?
LM: The collection is inspired by nature and consists of four Lycra dresses. Each dress features a unique nature inspired print with a contemporary twist. The aim of the collection is to flatter every body type and refine the stigma attached to Lycra in fashion wear. With a mixture of asymmetrical sleeves, leggings, a maxi dress and a drop back dress so there's something to flatter everyone.
HM: What has been the highlight of your studies?
LM: I think the real highlight of my studies will be when my collection is on the runway at the Graduate Fashion Show in June. That's the moment when I'll know all the stress will have been worth it!
HM: What are your plans after you graduate?
LM: I'm not completely sure what direction I want to go in after I finish University. I am really interested in interior design so
there's a strong possibility I will do an interior design course when I finish.
